Like I said in the blogpost about this look: I also made a tutorial for it!
It took me a while to get it finished but here it finally is. I’m just glad I finished it before spring is over because I tend to put things like these off: they’re a lot more work than a blogpost about a look. I hope you like it!
I made this look with spring in mind, obviously. When I was riding my bike to work I saw a crocus field and those flowers always make me happy. They’re the promise of spring to me, and spring means sun, warmth, long days, warm nights, sitting outside, cocktails in the sun and all the other good stuff the spring and summer bring.
I thought that was a nice inspiration for a look. And I had some time left so I also made a tutorial but I’m still working on it, I hope to get that one online in a couple of days.
This is a bit of a weird blogpost because this look was made a long time ago and I don’t really remember anything about it. Well, I’ve not completely lost my memory so of course I remember when I made it and that I wanted to use some pretty colours, but usually there is a bit of a thought process behind these and I just can’t remember for this look.
So without further ado, let’s go see the Tropical Flower look…
When I did this Poll blogpost, I expected a completely different outcome. A lot of people have told me they wanted the neon look to win but somehow it didn’t and the Smokey Punk look got most votes. I got a lot of questions from people asking me if I could still do the neon look… How can I say no to that?
So I made the tutorial but I have to say I made some little changes, most people probably won’t even see it but I used some more Sugarpill, that’s it. Hope you enjoy!
I went to Amsterdam with my best friend and wanted to do a pretty neutral makeup. She doesn’t care about makeup and I didn’t really have the time to do something elaborate so I just got my favourite Effect Powder from Gosh en some browns from my 88 matte palette.
