I already uploaded these pictures to my Facebook page but I figured I’d keep all the Autumn series looks together on my blog. So here’s a little blogpost about it. I started the idea for this series with this picture and it needed a look to go along with it, right?
So I made a look with gold, orange, a brownish red and green. The colours in my look are not nearly as vibrant as the picture but I still like them.
I used Sugarpill’s Goldilux, Asteria, Midori and Olivia on the bottom lashline. And a tiny bit of Diamond Eyes below the brow.
The dark brown/red and green are from some of my Sleek palettes.
I didn’t do any fullface pictures because I only made up one eye and I was basically too lazy to do half-face pictures, hihi. Sorry!
I hope you guys like this addition to the All About Autumn series. There is another update coming but I still need to work on cropping those pictures and I started work again after my vacation so my spare time is limited so it might take me a few days.
I don’t have lots to tell but a lot has been going on in my life but that’s mainly preggo talk and I’m not sure if anybody is waiting on updates about that. I actually doubt it but if I’m mistaken: let me know. 🙂
And let me know what you think of this look, do you like it? What’s your favourite part about autumn? Please let me know in the comments!
A long time ago I saw *this* look from Marjolein, a.k.a. The Art Is Makeup, on Facebook. I was immediately smitten with the brown and red colours and I really wanted to do something like it. I actually forgot a bit about these pictures and suddenly I ran into this unfinished blogpost. So I finished it as fast as possible, I hope you like it.
I added a little touch of gold in the inner corner but I think, other than the gold, this look is a lot like what I wanted to do with the inspiration Marjolein gave me.
Hey folks! I wanted to update a lot sooner this year but a lot came up that needed my attention more. I moved to a different location at work and that’s been draining a lot of my energy. My grandmother also passed away last week so obviously my mind was elsewhere after that. These things still take up a lof of my time so I don’t know when I’ll be making new looks.
However, I stil have some old looks on my computer and I really wanted to show these so bit by bit I’m putting together these blogposts. Just be a little patient and I’ll get back into the blogging mood as soon as possible.
So, on to this look! A long time ago, longer than I had planned to put this look online, I saw *this* look by Heather Makeup Mouse. She did such a great job with that TARDIS look and I really liked the colours she used. I’m not very good at the detailed drawing in my makeup looks so I decided to try and capture the same colours she used, but a little more “wearable for every day”. I hope you like the result.
Thanks for the inspiration, Heather!
I don’t remember exactly what the inspiration for this look was but I’m in a very “dark makeup” kind of mood lately. I guess I wanted to lighten up the look a bit with Sugarpill Lumi but still, dark gloomy autumny look ahead!
I wanted to create a look with these colours because the weather sucks around here, we get loads of rain and I feel like we just shot ourselves from a great warm summer into a dreary autumn. Somehow, in a few days all the trees have lost their leaves and it’s starting to get cold inside!
So autumn colours seemed appropriate. I wanted to combine some of my latest Sugarpill beauties, including one of the colours from the Cold Chemistry palette I got from Enchantra, here’s what it turned out like.
