Some time ago Born Pretty Store was doing a Twitter giveaway and I won one of the prizes! It’s always a nice surprise to be able to try new stuff, right?
I received some nailart products and this lipstick, from a brand I wasn’t familliar with. It’s from 3 Concept Eyes and I guess it’s a Chinese brand, since the webshop is Chinese and simply because I can’t read anything that’s written on it, lol.
With this package, the people from Born Pretty Store also gave me a 10% off coupon for you lovely shopping addicts out there. If you’re going to order anything in their store, make sure you use the code LBGW10, mmmkay?
I opened my Inspiration folder on Pinterest and found the picture below, I saved it a long time ago. The colours are gorgeous and the picture instantly made me think of Sugarpill Royal Sugar pigment. I was wondering if this would work out the way I had in mind because these colours are not exactly an obvious match but I tried my best to get the colours right and stil let them work together.
Isn’t he cute? I believe it’s an Eastern Bluebird.
In my last blogposts I showed you 2 of the chameleon nailpolishes from Hema, but those aren’t the only limited edition nailpolishes they have in store right now. There’s also a holographic line. And I do love me some sparkly holo’s.
I only bought the one colour I thought was most interesting, because it’s quite dark. It’s called Holographic Bordeaux.
Like I said in the blogpost about this look: I also made a tutorial for it!
It took me a while to get it finished but here it finally is. I’m just glad I finished it before spring is over because I tend to put things like these off: they’re a lot more work than a blogpost about a look. I hope you like it!
Some time ago I got an email from one of the people of MakeUp Geek, asking me if I wanted to try out their brand spankin’ new pigments. Needless to say I was so excited I found myself making all kinds of squeaky noises.
The package arrived very quick, I was counting on a couple of weeks before it would get delivered, because that’s what happened the last time. But I had it in my hands the end of the same week! *Squeee*
I made a lot of pictures. Not just of the swatches but also of the packaging, because a lot of people are curious about stuff like that too. Overseas shipping packages sometimes need a litle more care. As you can see the packaging from MakeUp Geek is really good. Not only are the pigments wrapped in bubble paper but the box is also filled with “popcorn”, to make sure everything arrives in a very good condition.
Make sure you got some time when you click this link because this post is really, really picture heavy…
