Funky blues

I made this look some time ago and I wanted to put the blogpost together in my nightshifts. But apparently the browsers in old computers at my work can get so terrible crappy that WordPress simply refused to cooperate. After nightshifts I was completely beat up and needed all my energy for simple life stuff. So the blog thing just had to wait.

I might even have quiet times like this more often because lately my heart isn’t entirely into makeup. I’m just struggling with this winter depression thing and even though it’s not as bad as it used to be the previous years, I like to focus on other things right now.
Enough blabla, here’s the look I came up with.

Some time ago I pinned this picture om one of my Pinterest boards. Isn’t he beautiful?

Long-tailed sylph

I thought this cute little guy has the most beautiful colours and somehow I thought of all Sugarpill colours.
So of course that’s what I used for this look.I’ve been doing so many glittery and shimmery looks lately that it was a nice change to do something that was entirely matte.

WOW, it’s bright!

Remember I wrote about the upcoming Essence pigments? Well, they have been in store for some time now and I’ve only bought a few, I’m thinking about collecting them all but I’m just giving myself a little time because it’s not like I’m in dire need of more pigments, I already have too many as it is. So I only bought 3 colours and one of them is WOW, it’s orange!

This colour is gorgeous, although I don’t really agree on the name, it’s more of a coral colour on acid. Insanely bright and sure, the base is a bit orangy but it has an intense pinkish tone to it. And when you look really good it also has something golden in it, very beautiful!

Unbreak my heart

I got a white eyeliner from Coastal Scents from Linda, the owner of Enchantra. They were selling the last ones and she knew I was still looking for one, isn’t that sweet? Thank you so much Linda!

When I made this look, All I wanted to do was use me new white eyeliner for some detail, the rest just happened. I didn’t really have a plan for it but I like it a lot. It’s soooo bright, Sugarpill FTW!!

Broken Heart

I felt like I needed to use my Sugarpill Heart Breaker palette again because I’ve been neglecting it a bit lately. The weather has been getting warmer the past few weeks and I loooooove warm weather. But when I have a day off or something and it’s warm, I usually don’t wear makeup. It’ll just melt right off my face anyway and when my makeup doesn’t stay where it has to, that bugs me.

Nothing is broken about my heart, by the way. Love and I are still crazy about each other, I just took the name from the palette.
