Tutorial: Hummingbird Villain
When I made this look I had enough time to do a tutorial for it. It always takes a lot of time, not only to make all the pictures but also to crop them and to write the different steps. Even though I’m always happy with the result when it comes to these tutorials, I don’t make them nearly enough. I should really change that but realistically, I don’t think it will, lol.
But for now, let’s just be happy I finished this sucker right here. I hope you like it!

Hummingbird Villain
For some time I had this look in mind.
Originally, I wanted to make it with my matte 88 palette. But when I got started I just found out that those colours didn’t really match what I had in mind. So I took it all off and started over with some Sleek palettes and 1 from Sugarpill. Not only did the colours match what I had in mind but the pigmentation of those shadows is just so much better than the 88 palette I own.

Tutorial for the Autumn Leaves look
Some time ago I asked you to vote for your favourite look so I could make a tutorial for it. As I expected, most of you wanted to see a tutorial for the Autumn Leaves look. Hope you’ll like it!

Red sunset
Lately I haven’t been able to make looks because of eczema and that problem still isn’t completely solved. So far every base I use gives me a bit of eczema on my eyelids… Since the cream to get rid of it, causes higher pressure in the eyes (and that’s a common problem in my family, which can lead to permanent loss of sight) I’ve just been giving my eyes a rest. I’ll look for solutions of course but right now I’m just waiting for my skin to calm down.
This is the last look I still had in my folders, aside from a tutorial that comes online soon, and after this we’ll have to wait for me to find the big solution before I get back to coloring mah eyeballz. With this look I went for something dark and red. Here’s what happened.

Autumn leaves
The Hiatus is officially over! I have to say it was nice not to think about blogging for a month, I could very well do this again, but not right now because it had the right effect: I feel like doing some makeup again!
I’ve been working on new looks, my brand spankin’ new Facebook page, some inspirational blogposts for the future and a new series of looks. So there’s some stuff coming up and can’t wait to see what you have to say about it.
But for the first new blogpost I decided it would be a fall inspired look. For september the challenge for the Facebook Group of Awesomness, called Never Too Much Sparkle, was either an eyeliner shape or falling leaves, so autumn inspired.
I wanted to do both but my vacation got in the way of having time for that so I just did this look with autumn leaves colours.
