Link love part 10

I thought it was about time I did another version of Link Love. It’s been months and in the meantime the blogs I read weekly have been piling up! Honestly, I’m a total lurker but I do visit a lot of blogs. Usually when I’m working nightshifts I sort through my bloglovin and leave comments but that doesn’t happen as often as I’d like.

Playing on Josi’s burnt grass

I was browsing Josi’s blog and I saw she did a new version of her Burning Grass look. I already liked that look a lot the first time she did it and I still think the combination of green and prange is just so beautiful. So I did a look inspired by her look, hence the title. I don’t have that many orange eyeshadows but the Sleek Circus palette turned out to be of great help. And we both used the Green Brown pigments from MAC, gotta love that pigment.

It’s time for another part of link love!
I haven’t done any of these blogposts for quite some time which is strange because I ran into more than enough cool blogs. Somehow I just didn’t think about writing about them for a while. Oh well, here’s one to make up for it!

Dark Sunshine Award

Woohoo, another tag! Perhaps you’re already getting tired of these, I’m not.
I don’t know if you’re familiar with Bethezda’s Preoccupations but if you’re not you really should check out her blog, I think she’s pretty awesome and deserves every follower she has because she has her very own style and I love her for that.

She tagged me for the Dark Sunshine Award and it’s not that different from the questions tag I did earlier. Just… darker It’s been more than a month since she tagged me, I should be ashamed of myself! But I just didn’t get around to doing this tag. So I’m making up for it now.

Royal gold, inspired by Josi van Kit

I was reading Josi’s blog the other day and she had linked me in one of her articles. She used Goldilux for the waterline too to create a golden waterline. I was so happy when I read that, it’s an honour for me to read Josi got inspired by little ol’ me!

Funny thing: she used it in a light blue and gold look and I don’t use that combination a lot and I thought it would be a cool idea to make a look inspired by her look that was (partially) inspired by me. Are you still following me? lol. But I didn’t want the look to be too much glittery-in-yo-face-golden-look-at-me-now because I had to go to work and I was already wearing stuff that was a bit out of my comfort zone. So I took my Inglot palette again and I used the matte blue colours in there together with the bronish colour and, of course, Goldilux from Sugarpill. I think Goldilux is my all time favourite, it combines with everything.
