Sugarpill Supernova
I had the morning off when I made this look, I had to work an evening shift and I was browsing for inspiration. The frustrating thing about inspiration is that it usually hits me in the face when I have no time to work with it. Some time ago I saw some amazing galaxy pictures and I thought the colours I saw in the pictures would make great combinations for make-up.
So I started to look for galaxy pictures and I found this one.

I thought it was very beautiful so I made a look with these colours and loads and loads of sparkle!
All that glitters
I wanted to do another look with MAC Young Punk because I just thought that glittery goodness in my drawer couldn’t be ignored any longer! I used more products from MAC that I’ve collected over the years. I don’t own a lot of MAC products but the ones I have are cherished, some because I think they just simply rock, others because I got them from dear friends and some just because they were actually a bit too expensive for my taste but I still couldn’t resist adding them to my makeup collection.
After I tried some colours together in eyeshadow it was just missing something. It needed more… More what? More GLITTERRRRRRR.

The minty manifestation
Lately I’ve been really into mintygreen cosmetics, I’ve been wearing it in looks and my nails are mintygreen too. And it’s all Sugarpill Amy’s fault!
Just a joke, I’m loving it. I fell in love with her upcoming palette Heart Breaker.
I don’t have any Sugarpill palettes, I have Midori and Poison Plum and those colours are in all of the palettes, so I didn’t want to buy a palette because I’d have doubles and to me that’s just a waste of money since I’m already on a budget when it comes to makeup. But I’m so very happy she has this palette coming out, it looks gorgeous!

So I’ve been going through my stash and found my City Jungle eyeshadow from MakeUp Store and I started experimenting with that. You know, to get ready for when I have a Heart Breaker palette…. I’m a dork, I know!!!
So here’s The Minty Manifestation…

Curlywurly flowerpower
I told you in yesterday’s blogpost I was going to show this look today. I wanted to use colours from the dress I was wearing, it had flowers on it and it was in black and white. In the flowers the colours yellow, orange, green and pink were visible and I like how this look worked out.

Stars and moonlight flamenco
Lately I have the bad habit of going to try a look for a certain purpose and then end up with something completely different from what I was going for. It’s very annoying because if I have to make a look with a certain theme for a contest or something, it just doesn’t get done…
I was starting out as a glittery christmas look for a contest and I ended up using no glitter and not the colours that I intended. Oh well, I still like the result.
