The magpie and the cobra
Woohoo, it’s december 5th!! That might not mean anything to you but in the Netherlands it’s a holiday called Sinterklaas. It’s mostly a kids holiday but a lot of families celebrate it, wether they still believe in Sinterklaas or not. Anything for a party, right?
I still had some blogposts almost ready and I really wanted to get this one online fast because it’s with one of the glitterliners from the Breaking Dawn part 2 collection and… well I really like it. I hope you do to!
This is how my thought process went for this look, or actually a lot of times when I’m working on a makeup look:
“Hmm, let’s do something simple. Don’t feel like doing a complicated look”
“So many pretty colours to choose from, yeah baby.”
“Maybe I could do something more fun with the shape.”
“Shape looks nice but it all looks boring, how can I spice this up?”
“How about a nice extended winged liner”
“Starting to like it”
“Oh I see what I’m missing, NEEDS SPARKLES!!”
“Yeah, me likey”
“MORE SPARKLES!!!!”
“Oh I like that one too, use ALL the glitter!!!!!”
“I look like a discoball”
“Woohoo!”
That about sums it up…

Golden sunlight in a blue sky
Wow, it’s been a couple of days since my last blogpost! I still had this one in a folder so I figured I could write about it. I’m going to have some more fun with other stuff too so I might just skip some more updates. I’ve been working on a couple of sewing projects and I have a lot more in mind and that’s been taking up a lot of my time. And it’s been very, very warm around here and I try to wear as little make-up on those days as possible.
I made this look with the skirt I was wearing in mind, you can see it at the end of this blogpost. It’s one of my new favourite pieces of clothing lately, I love the fabric and the style. And I hear I have a great butt in it. Can’t tell you much about that myself but hey, I think those are pretty cool compliments lol.
Anyway, the fabric is a bit like taffeta, it shifts colour a bit going from a bit pale yellow to blue so I made a look with gold and blue. I thought it looked quite nice actually.

Tropical flower
This is a bit of a weird blogpost because this look was made a long time ago and I don’t really remember anything about it. Well, I’ve not completely lost my memory so of course I remember when I made it and that I wanted to use some pretty colours, but usually there is a bit of a thought process behind these and I just can’t remember for this look.
So without further ado, let’s go see the Tropical Flower look…

Graphite Treasure
Lately my Sleek eyeshadow palette’s have been getting more attention, I guess it’s because I’ve recently ordered the Darks palette and it got me in the mood for Sleek. I did’t have Darks in my posession when I wrote his blogpost but I couldn’t wait to get to work with those amazing matte eyeshadows.
I think there are a lot of matte eyeshadows out there but there are only few brands that are this cheap and still deliver this kind of great quality. So yay for Sleek!!
Anyway, I was wearing this grey Alice In wonderland shirt and I wanted to do something grey with red because of the print. It turned out way more red than I had in mind, lol.

Kocham Inglot
This was the first time I used these colours from my new Inglot palette. I was very curious about the orange eyeshadow because I’ve been going through my stash and I own quite some orange or orange based colours but none of them are really incredibly pigmented and I really wanted one that would pop.
I’ve found it!
I also have to say I’ve never had matte eyeshadows that blend so incredibly easy. For example, I like the Sleek matte eyeshadows but they take a little more effort to be blended. It’s not very difficult but you have to put some more time in it. But these seem to blend themselves, so to speak.
