Smoldering sunset
I wanted to do a look with orange, red an purple for a long time. On the Sugarpill Facebook page they link a lot of amazing looks and blogs by people that used Sugarpill products and there are a lot of looks with those colours there. That probably has to do with the colour combination of the Burning Heart palette by Sugarpill.
I don’t own that palette but I still wanted to use the colours from it. So I went through my stash and here’s what I did.

You’re like a laserlight
I had a day off and I really felt like doing an extreme look again. It’s been a while and even though I had no idea what I wanted to do, I just sat down, selected some products and got to work. Usually it works for me to go through my (small) stash of false lashes. They’re just sooooo much fun to use and they give me loads of inspiration. I picked a pair that I hadn’t used before and it’s funny because my process usually begins with picking a pair of lashes and then when I’m about ready to put the lashes on I change my mind and pick out another pair. But this time I stuck with my choice and even though I hate to sound arrogant, I’m really happy about this look.
I made it with Sugarpill Royal Sugar and I have a bit of a hate/love relationship with that pigment. It’s absolutely stunning, I’ve never seen a blue pigment so very vibrant. But it’s also one of the pigments that’s a little stubborn, apparently Royal Sugar doesn’t like to be blended so it took me a long time to get this look right the way I wanted it. I think making this look took me about 2 hours! But to me, it was worth it.

Tropicana
I had one of those days that I wanted to cheer myself up and I did it with bright colours again. It worked like a charm by the way and when I was done with my make-up I also used a bunch of hairflowers in my hair and it was such a fun, tropical and colourful look so I named it Tropicana.
It was made with my Inglot palette, you can see which colours below in the summary of products.

Royal gold, inspired by Josi van Kit
I was reading Josi’s blog the other day and she had linked me in one of her articles. She used Goldilux for the waterline too to create a golden waterline. I was so happy when I read that, it’s an honour for me to read Josi got inspired by little ol’ me!
Funny thing: she used it in a light blue and gold look and I don’t use that combination a lot and I thought it would be a cool idea to make a look inspired by her look that was (partially) inspired by me. Are you still following me? lol. But I didn’t want the look to be too much glittery-in-yo-face-golden-look-at-me-now because I had to go to work and I was already wearing stuff that was a bit out of my comfort zone. So I took my Inglot palette again and I used the matte blue colours in there together with the bronish colour and, of course, Goldilux from Sugarpill. I think Goldilux is my all time favourite, it combines with everything.
